Telangana High Court Stenographer Grade-III Recruitment 2026 – Apply Online

The High Court for the State of Telangana has released Notification No. 01/2026 dated 19 January 2026 inviting online applications for direct recruitment to the post of Stenographer Grade-III in the Telangana Judicial Ministerial Service.

This recruitment is being conducted to fill vacancies in District Courts across Telangana, including City Civil Court, Sessions Courts, Small Causes Courts, and other judicial units. Eligible candidates with stenography skills in English can apply online only within the prescribed dates.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s Degree from any recognized University in India

2. Must have passed Telangana Government Technical Examination in:

   • English Typewriting – Higher Grade (45 w.p.m)
     OR

   • Equivalent qualification

3. Must have passed English Shorthand – Higher Grade (120 w.p.m)

   • Candidates with Lower Grade may be considered if Higher Grade candidates are not available

4. Must have basic knowledge of computer operations

Final-year students or candidates awaiting results are not eligible.

 

 

 

 

Linguistic Qualification

• Candidates must possess adequate knowledge of the local language of the district they apply for.

• If sufficient candidates with local language knowledge are not available, others may be considered as per rules.

Skill Test Pattern

• Dictation: 120 words per minute – 5 minutes

• Transcription: 45 minutes on computer

• Minimum Qualifying Marks:

  • OC / EWS – 40%

  • BC – 35%

  • SC / ST / PwBD – 30%

Additional weightage is given to contract / outsourcing staff working in Telangana Courts.

Reservation Details
