The Sports Authority of India (SAI) has released an official notification inviting online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to the post of Assistant Coach in various sports disciplines on a regular basis.
SAI is an autonomous organization under the Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Government of India, responsible for developing sports infrastructure and nurturing athletes for national and international competitions. Through this recruitment, SAI aims to strengthen its coaching cadre across National Centres of Excellence (NCOEs), Regional Centres, and Training Centres throughout India.

Cumulative age relaxation is allowed as per Government rules.
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
Diploma or equivalent in Sports Coaching from SAI NS-NIS, Patiala or any recognized Indian / foreign university
OR
Participation in Olympics / Paralympics / Asian Games / World Championships with a Certificate Course in Coaching
OR
Dronacharya Awardee
Equivalent qualifications recognized by SAI are listed in Annexure-I of the notification.

This is an entry-level coaching post with promotion avenues up to High Performance Coach.
The recruitment will be conducted in two stages:
